We are excited to announce the 2021 RAPA Summer Institute on July 28, 29, 30, 2021 (Wednesday through Friday) from 9 am to 3 pm. This is the very first event at RAPA and for the inaugural class. These are exciting times!

Here is a breakdown of the institute.

Wednesday, July 28: (at Delta Academy - 818 W. Brooks Ave. N. Las Vegas, NV 89030)

8:45 - 9:00 am - Arrival/check in.

9:00 - 9:45 am - Formal intros and ice breakers (gifts/prizes)

9:45 - 10:30 - Student/parent orientation

10:45 - 11:45 - Student assessment (instruments and vocals) - parents are dismissed

11:45 - 12:30 - Lunch

12:30 - 1:00 -  Song and Set List discussion

1:00 - 3:00 - Students in groups working on songs and set list

Thursday, July 29: (at Delta Academy)

9:00 - 9:30 - Song and set list review

9:30 - 11:45 - Rehearsal

11:45 - 12:30 - Lunch

12:30 - 3:00 -  Rehearsal

Friday, July 30: (at TBD)

9:00 - 10:00 - Rehearsal

10:00 - 11:45 - Run Through

11:45 - 12:30 - Lunch

12:30 - 1:00 -  Guests arrive

1:00 - 1:15 - RAPA Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

1:15 - 3:00 - SHOWTIME!

We are planning on inviting guest musicians from around Las Vegas to help coach the students during the song and set list rehearsals. We are hopeful that one of our supporters, Ryan Patrick from the Vegas-own hard rock band OTHERWISE will be in attendance as a coach and mentor.

The VEGAS CHAMBER will be present to do the official RAPA Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. We are inviting local businesses and council people to be in attendance.

Please invite your family and friends to the show. This is a perfect chance to show off your talent even before the school year starts!

Also, as we want to get the word out about RAPA, we are continually recruiting for new students to fill out the inaugural class. If you bring a friend to the summer institute, and the friend enrolls at RAPA/Delta Academy, you will receive a $250 scholarship that can be used toward your conservatory fee.

REMINDER: If you haven't already, please complete your official enrollment application and all necessary paperwork for The Delta Academy. The school is open Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 3 pm. Please schedule a day to go to Delta to complete this process before the summer institute.
