Rock Academy of the Performing Arts (RAPA) is the music conservatory wing of The Delta Academy. RAPA infuses a state-of-the-art music program in the high school that has a distinct focus on contemporary musical performance and theory for Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, and Drums under the “Rock n Roll” musical genre umbrella. We look to tap into the potential of aspiring vocalists and musicians with the passion to pursue music performance as a career in the musical genre they choose such as Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, Country, Jazz, DJ/EDM and more. RAPA will accompany the instrumental music and vocal conservatories with a musical theater conservatory in the coming years. The musical theater conservatory will feature world-class musical theater program for students interested in singing, acting, instrumentation, and theater tech. In addition, RAPA will also incorporate a rock-industry vocational technology conservatory for students interested in sound, audio, lighting, videography, stage handling, and stage management.
